This polo fits that mold perfectly and is entirely made of premium Samurai Japanese cotton. This fabric has tons of character and, without a doubt, the most amazing texture we have ever seen on a polo.
The Samurai has done his best to produce the best possible polo. They opted for a #10 slub yarn of their Samurai proprietary Japanese cotton harvested by hand, and they weaved the fabric in Wakayama, on vintage looms. For the construction, the brand chose an old sewing workshop located in Kyoto. This Kuromame version is dyed with Black Soybeans from Hyogo in a small dyeing workshop located in Sasayama.
All Samurai tees and polos run smaller in size compared to your regular American size. Typically, if you wear a size M in American t-shirts, you will need to select a size L in this. However, individual body types can vary, so, as always, we recommend consulting our size chart for the perfect fit.
Samurai jeans have become a legend in the Japanese denim scene. Created in Osaka by Toru Nogami in 1997, Samurai represents the perfection of Japanese tradition, with its iconography of Sengoku-era Samurais and the search for the best and nothing but the best through materials, artisan garment-making techniques and unique detailing.
